Acclaimed short film director Chie Hayakawa makes her feature directing debut with an expansion of her critically lauded "Plan 75" segment from anthology TEN YEARS JAPAN, which continues to screen at high profile international film festivals.
In a dystopian Japan, the government establishes “Plan 75” to encourage the rapidly growing senior population to volunteer for euthanasia in order to reduce the economic burden on the country. An elderly woman whose means of survival are vanishing, a young nursing student supporting her family in the Philippines, and an ambitious Plan 75 salesman all face crucial choices.​
