Magic Kimono「ふたりの旅路」

Synopsis

Japanese woman Keiko has been living in a shell for decades due to a family tragedy in Kobe and is unable to bid farewell to her past. Without much passion, she joins a group of Japanese women traveling to Northern Europe to participate in a kimono show. Unintentionally, Keiko is pulled in a vortex of events making her a local celebrity. Confusion and despair turns to self-confidence until Keiko comes face to face with her mysterious and almost otherworldly husband, who disappeared twenty years ago... Starring Kaori Momoi (Frank Marshall's Memoirs of a Geisha, Takashi Miike's Sukiyaki Western Django) and Issey Ogata (Martin Scorsese's Silence, Alexander Sokurov's The Sun).
